(no subject)
Well, it looks as if the second half of this storm might blow right over us. But who knows. We're under a winter storm warning until 4 pm tomorrow though so who knows what'll happen this afternoon and tomorrow morning!! It snowed ALL day yesterday. Luckily the roads weren't bad going to or from work yesterday though. When Randy got home last night he said it was starting to get bad. His buddy from work stopped over for like an hour and when he left, Randy went out to shovel the drive way. He came back in after about 5 minutes and was completely white. When I left for work this morning, there was at least 6-8" in our driveway from the time he shoveled last night. He just sent me a text about 15 minutes ago before leaving for work saying the snow was past the bottom of his doors! So, I suppose this is our repayment for having such a mild winter thus far and for every other part of the country getting hit with these snow storms but us!! The sun is starting to come out though, but God (and anyone that lives off a Great Lake) knows that can change in about 5 minutes!
I was hoping to be able to buy my ticket to NC with my pay check this week but I don't think that's gonna happen. I've had like $5 for the last two weeks and I don't want to do that again this time. I'll be able to pay all the bills, get my nails done, and spend about $70 on gas but if I get my ticket I won't have any money left so I think I'll have to hold off ANOTHER two weeks and do it next pay. Besides I don't think I have any bills to pay next pay so that could work out to my advantage. We'll see.
Hopefully Randy gets home at like 9 or 9:30 like he has the last couple nights he's worked. Tonight is movie night for Saw III and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Well, it's one or the other. I told him he's not allowed to watch them without me b/c I won't watch either of those alone. I know, I'm a chicken shit.
I suppose I should get back to work. These e-mails are driving me up the wall!!
