(no subject)
So I was wrong in my determining of the sex of the puppy. She is a girl. It went over real well giving her to my Dad last night. He loves her. Changed her name about 5 times but settled on Ginger. And she's SUCH a good puppy. We had her in the kitchen all day but when Steve got here we let her out to walk around. Just noticing when it looked like she had to go we took her outside and she did real well. Only 2 accidents, which, for a 6 week old puppy, that's pretty good I think. She's just so precious, I missed her so much after they left!! We're puppy-sitting again in a couple weeks though. Oh, and we're getting Randy's parent's cat today for 2 weeks lol. This house is just full of animal love!!
So, the meeting of the parents went WONDERFULLY. I was so happy with how thing went and how well they got along. The one and only thing that sucks about yesterday is that Randy was stuck at work until after 8 pm. We held off dinner as long as possible but ended up eating like 5 minutes before he called to say he was on his way home. I felt SO bad eating w/o him, I barely ate anything. Just in general, I really wanted him to be here. He really wanted to be here. He was happy to see our parents got along so well but after everyone left we talked and he was really bummed he missed the whole evening )o= On the plus side they did give him NYE off. And the plan for next weekend is....oh yea NOTHING. Next weekend is my lazy don't do a god damned thing for 3 days weekend!!! My whole body is so tired. 4 hrs of sleep yesterday, 5 today, I'm too old for this!! (o;
Well, I think he's out of the shower. I need to go wash my face and try to wake up some. Then it's off to Steve's for presents, and a day of running around. yay.
