Orientation Week
Orientation week has finally finished for me ~ woopdee. 'twas very tiring the last three days, i ended up coming home and falling asleep on the kitchen couch (i think i may have something to do with my contacts... i dunno).
Day one: Registration
A very quick day, just registering and that meant only staying there for 75 minutes or so,
Day two: Class Allocation and Academic Workshop
Finally got my timetable.
Monday: Managing Information (L) and Academic Literacy (LTU)
Tuesday: Business Statistics (TU)
Wednesday: Business Statistics (L) and Managing Infomation (TU)
Thurday: Business Statistics (TU) and Uni Prep (TU).
Friday: FREE!~
Business Statistics scares me
I TOOK MY ID TOO !! ... PWAHAHAHA, I LOOK LIKE A FATBOY XDD !!!! ROFL
Day three (aka Today): Campus Tour & UTS Computer facilities orientation & Reception
The train ride to central this day was quite out of the ordinary. SCHOOL KIDS (8/9 yearolds)from dulwich hill or hurlstone park were having an excursion, they were SOOO LOUD, that they overpowered the volume of my ipod, therefore i simply gave up listening. Instead, i decided to eavesdrop in their convos =D.
Those kids were L.O.L. Here is a snippet of their conversation i remember of some kids in those six seater seats.
Girl: (in an extraordinaryly LOUD voice) NOOOO! WHEN WE LEARN ABOUT SEX WERE GONNA LEARN ABOUT OUR OWN.
Boy: (also in an extremely LOUD voice) WE LEARN ABOUT OUR OWN PARTS?
Girl: YEAH! SO YOU'LL LEARN ABOUT HOW THE SPERM TRAVELS AND STUFF AND GIRLS LEARN ABOUT (does the hand gesture alluding to a females period xDD).
Boy #2: (says something i couldn't really hear properly)
Girl:YEAH! AND MY BROTHER SAYS THAT EVERYONE IN YEAR 9 AS SEX!!!
ALL 6 FRIENDS: EWWWWWW!!!, THATS GROSS MAN, HOW COULD THEY DO THAT.
BOY #3: I WOULD NEVER DO THAT!
SO L. O. L .
Anyways, back to O-day
The tour was pretty fun. I got a UTS diary, saw the fitness center (too bad they don't have a pool) and other places. Blah Blah Blah at the end we got free finger foods and juice which was coolie woolie.
I must say, there were alot of international students, its like WOA @_@. Unless they were like me, looks aZn but ABC. I too was mistaken for being a foreigner. Oh wells, school starts nexxxtttt week !
