I fought (with) the law

I'm going to court [edit: the day after] tomorrow! :0
The first response to that which everyone's given me so far is, "Jury duty?" Then I say no, and their eyes get big. No, I didn't kill anyone, no I didn't steal anything, no, I didn't break the law. Back in March, some douche parked his HAY LOOKIT ME riced/pimped/whatev Nissan 300ZX, aftermarket junk plastered throughout, with an arrogant and egotistical license plate of "YOULOST", in my private apartment parking stall, and was unlucky enough to still be there when I got home from whatever I was doing that evening. A quick call to the fuzz, and an officer was sent over to Take Care Of Business. I was thrilled when he arrived before YOULOST had left, and almost ran down to him with glee. I had the option of just ticketing him, or towing him as well. I opted not to tow him, for I was purchasing a brand new car shortly, and didn't want any vengeful retribution applied to it via slashed tires or keyed door.

However, instead of being a good little citizen and paying what was due, the dickwad plead innocent. Let's see here... his car was parked in my private stall, which I pay $30/mo for. There is a sign posted in front of the stall right beside mine saying private parking only, you will get prosecuted otherwise. The police were called, and an officer of the law came, in person, and wrote up the ticket. What is there to plead innocent about? So I get to go to court tomorrow and provide witness that yes indeed, this arrogant worm owes the city some moolah. It will be most interesting to see what he's thinking he can do, and I will have a wonderful chuckle when his guilty verdict is handed down upon him.

I just have to go figure out where the heck this court is. Sounds like an adventure to me!

In other news, ow. Incredibly sore and stiff from paintball plus martial arts over the weekend. Paintball was unfortunately meh. I liked the place we went to previously better.

In other other news, moths flutter out of my wallet tonight. 5 bills to pay! Nearly 2K! That rhymed! Depending how you read it.
