Everything is white with frost this morning. It went well below freezing last night. I hope we get snow sometime soon.
Last night on television there was a live feed of some reality show being broadcast on BBC4. I really didn't know what was going on but one of the blokes was yelling at another bloke and shouting, "Wanker! You wanker!". Then again this morning at 8am they showed a replay of the live show from the night before and everything was the same except that they had cut out the part where the guy was shouting "Wanker!". Now, as an American, I understand that there are loads worse things to call someone than wanker and I'm sure that if someone called someone else a wanker on american tv noone would think it was really that awful. Apparently in England though, 'wanker' is actually the equivalent of calling someone an asshole. And, understandably, if wanker = asshole then it really isn't suitable for 8am tv.
I am starving for a flapjack right now. Flapjacks are probably the one British food I'll miss when I leave. Now, a flapjack in England isn't a pancake like in America. In England it's like a granola bar only bigger and fatter. I really don't know why I love them so much but I really do. You can buy them prepakaged or most bakeries make them fresh (the best). This journal entry is worthless. I need to eat before I can continue.
