It has so far been one of those days where everything is just going great. I did wake up to gloomy weather this morning but in a matter of hours it had cleared up and it is absolutely gorgeous outside. It feels like California; so warm and sunny, not a cloud for miles. There were nothing but happy e-mails in my mailbox today, too. Got one from a friend I hadn't spoke to in years. He updated me on all the goings-on with friends from my old improv gang. People getting married and having babies...it's scary but nice to hear everyone is getting on so well in their lives. I'll be cooking salmon with pinnapple sauce tonight. I am really starting to enjoy planning meals and cooking them. Dare I say it's a "hobby" now? At least my new cooking habits have quelled my taste for ready-made meals. Now I just buy ingredients and if I'm hungry I have to make something.
New necessity in my Dream House: In addition to a large front yard (for the dog, of course) I'll have a vegetable garden and fruit trees in the back.
