at municipal high today...
holy fucking shit. municipal waste was THE greatest show i have ever been to. there were circle pits galore, a boogie board for crowd surfing and an outdoor circle pit around the lodge. after the outside circle pit there were people jumping through windows because there were no screens and i did my first thrash kick successfully off a picnic table and i didn't feel a fucking thing, it ruled. they played a fucking amazing set with some new songs and they did an encore with drunk as shit, i fucking love that song. but the best song they played was substitute creature because they had their friend who was doing merch come up and they were like "lorrie has an announcement" and she had a mic and yelled "at municipal high today!!!" and everyone went apeshit. jesus, i can't wait to see them in buffalo in august. coliseum were sweet too, the best part about them was the singer's banter between songs because the things he said just made me remember and appreciate why i'm into this music. after the show we went back to ben's and partied with the waste all night. they are some of the nicest people i have ever met, they ruled. at about 5 in the am the next day me and jarad and jon never went to bed so we decided to go to the devil's pit in mt. hope. for about 2 and 1/2 hours we walked followed directions and followed clues and never found it. then we walked to ben's and chilled with the waste some more, and they let us hear their new cd which fucking ruled. all in all this week ruled. i'm done.
