This Fire Burns
Sup peeps. Been a while since I've updated this (again). A lot has happened since I last wrote one of these, so this will prolly be another long one.
Work continues to be pretty good, as usual. Still getting 30 hours each week, and I have 7 more working days until I'm on my paid vacation. I'm not looking forward to 7 straight days of working, even if I'm getting a 10 day vacation after that. I work Friday and Saturday of this week, and I've got a good feeling I'll be working all the way to Thursday of next week. Two people are on vacation next week, that's why I pretty much know I'll be working through Thursday. Ain't gonna be fun. We finally got our wing bar, taco bar and soup bar. Plus we got our biggest sale of the year today, Friday and Saturday. $3.99 8-piece chicken. Which means I'll be cooking all day Friday and Saturday. I'm hoping we don't have to have the wing bar open during that time, cause I'll be hard as hell keeping up with the chicken for that as well as the sale. I'm on my 3rd day off in a row, so that helps, I'm refreshed for tomorrow's sale. Come buy chicken from me!
But the thing that sucks about work right now is my manager, Diana Ganglehoff, will be getting transered to the Midway Cub on the 30th of July. She's such an awesome manager. I'm gonna really miss her. It sucks cause we just get finished with our remodel, and now our manager will be leaving. We're gonna be getting the deli manager from Inver Grove, dunno what she's like. I hear she's nice, but no one from my Cub has worked with her, so I dunno what she will be like as a manager.
I got stuck working on the Fourth, but only till 9pm. I went out to the Wabasha Bridge and watched the fireworks. I really wanted to hit up the Taste of Minnesota this year, but I worked every day it was going on. Oh well, maybe next year. I'm planning on going to the State Fair this year, though. I just wanna go on a day with a bunch of my buddies.
Despite having really good hours from work, I've been broke for the past couple of weeks, but that's cause I've been forcing myself to save money. Which I don't mind, there really hasn't been anything I've wanted to spend money on. I'm getting another tattoo next week, so I'm glad I'm saving money. Still not sure where I want it, but I'm thinking strongly of my right calf. A nice birthday present to myself.
Speaking of birthdays, my 21st is July 24th. I'm pumped. Come celebrate it with me!
I had a really bad cold for about a week, but I'm starting to feel much better now. I'm glad I'm getting over it, so I'm feeling good around my birthday.
I finally got a touch-up on my tattoo around my elbow. Joe (my tattooist) touched-up around my elbow and redid the outline, making it thicker. Just with the outline, it looks a lot better.
Last week was the Samoa Joe Show for MCW. It was a really good show, I hope they put it out on DVD. Meeting Samoa Joe was really cool too. I got a picture with him and Jeff. He's a really nice guy. He made sure everyone that wanted a autograph or a picture got one. I remember him walking in, and everyone just shut up. He's a massive man, but he was smaller than I thought he would be. He went to the dressing room, and came out and shook everyone's hand, introducing himself. His match was awesome, as expected. The crowd was very much like an ROH crowd during his match. But so much louder, since it was in a smaller area. It made me pumped for the ROH show in August too. After the event, I got to chat with Joe about video games, which was cool. I've always wanted to ask him if he's got a modded Xbox, cause if he didn't, I have the resources to get it done within a day. He has one though, but like me, he said he doesn't play it nearly as much as he did since the Xbox 360 came out.

Next Saturday, Char is holding a Halo Party. I'm really pumped for that, I haven't gone to a Halo Party in a long time, let alone played Halo. The last one I was at was prolly around the time XBW shut down. But it's cool cause it falls between mine and Char's birthday.
It's my brother's 17th birthday on Friday (the 14th). I got an idea of what I wanna get him, since he doesn't know what he wants. I'm sure he'll like it.
I've been reading "The Da Vinci Code", finally. I've wanted to read it for a while now, and my buddy Tom lent it to me. It's pretty good so far. Still wanna re-read the Flair book, so I gotta pick that up, I can't find mine.
But I'm gonna get going, wanna pick up smokes and my paystub from work. So I'll check ya'll on the flipp side!
