Whoops
Sup peeps. Sorry for the lack of updates, I only had like 4 days off in the past 3 weeks. But at least I got some fat checks coming my way. Most of which will be going into the savings account to replace the money I took outta there. Just a fair warning, this entry will be a long one.
Got some good things for Christmas. Mostly money, but I also got Las Vegas Seasons 1&2, The Fifth Element, AJ Styles DVD, and a Phat Farm (gag) shirt. It's really not that bad of a shirt, but I can't see myself wearing it except for an undershirt. Most of the money I got was loaned to my dad, but I'll be getting that money back this week. Then that'll go towards I think a DVD player or a Nintendo DS.
I worked on Christmas Eve, then went home and watched some of the DVDs I haven't been able to watch. My Uncle Craig also came over and we had a few burrs. Watch some Eddie Guerrero "Cheating Death, Stealing Life" cause I had the urge to watch it. Upon watching it, I just kept thinking "He left us way too early".
Christmas Day was spent up at my Aunt Jan's house, the usual thing we do for Christmas. I was really tired cause I only had like 4 hours of sleep, so I spent most of the night just trying to stay awake on the couch by talking to my cousins Guy and Tracy. Earlier in the day, my buddy Jesse stopped by to say Merry Christmas.
Everyone enjoyed the gifts I got them. Danny was really suprised by his gift, an electric accoustic guitar. My dad loved his gift, the Indiana Jones box set. It hasn't left our DVD player yet, except for when I wanted to watch Las Vegas. My mom naturally got her present early (the tattoo), but I surprised her as well with a $10 gift certificate for Subway. I put together stockings for my parents as well. Just some candy that I know they like.
My aunts and uncles were really surprised by the gift certificates that me and Danny got them. My aunt Jan actually cried when she got hers. She's been having this feeling that no one respects her, so I think that the gift certificate made her feel appriciated.
I don't really remember doing anything memorable the past coupla weeks. I hung out with Doyle last Thursday before I headed to work. Watched some Angle/Lesnar from 'Mania (Doyle never seen the match in it's entirity), grabbed some BK, then went to this really crappy hobby shop. It was cool to hang out with him again, but I also really wanted to hang out with him, Schell, Guarino, Lande and Nate like we used to do back in the day. Not to mention I haven't hung out with Schell and the rest for a long ass time. I've just been way too busy to even give them a jangle.
Work has been crazy lately. Mostly cause of all the hours. 35 hours two weeks ago, 39 last week and another 32 this week. It's good cause like I said, I wanna replace the money I took out from my savings account, so at least $100 will be taken out of each check. Plus I will be hitting my next raise, a whole 25 cents of it.
I'm getting really excited for the New Year's party at Nick's. I haven't hung out with anyone in a long ass time, so I'll be able to do that after work that day.
But I'm gonna go watch some more Las Vegas and enjoy my only day off this week, so I'll check y'all on the flipp side.
