So I just finished CPR class, which means I'm basically set for leading trips in the fall! Huzzah!
I wanted to perhaps celebrate by hiking up to Gile Mountain, but without at least two hours to complete the 8 miles to the summit from campus, I figured that would be best saved for another day. It would be cool to actually see the sunset from the top, so I'll put that on my to-do list. Not sure if I'll have time during C&R to do any hiking tho...I am, however planning to spend the night at a nearby shelter, and so I'll probably leave for there after S.E.X.
Monday I go back to work, but that should be fairly chill. Then Tuesday the grind starts again, with me having to resolve Harvard issues, loan issues, and (college) major issues basically by Wednesday or Thursday. I have an awards ceremony Tuesday and a concert Thursday, so I'll be more busy than I'd like to be, but what else is new? Also, I have to have a financial report submitted by the 6th--my last one, most likely. I've spent more than enough time as treasurer, and I need a change desperately.
I am really not looking forward to this fall. If there's an academic term here that will break me, it'll probably be this one. Winter and spring won't be a complete cakewalk either, but intro to CS, classics, biochem, and auditing Chinese might be too much. I hope not, though, and if I can find a viable alternative TAS that's supposed to be easier, I might take that instead. I sure don't have time to look now though!
Guess I'll go back to relaxing, since it's one of the few chances I'll have to do so. Ciao...
