Kitty in Wonderland!
So, I haven't posted on LJ in months, and now that I'm finally posting, it's about... a cat food commercial!
It's a really good cat food commercial, though. It's for Friskies. It's called 'Adventureland' and it's getting a lot of buzz. It seems inspired by 'Alice in Wonderland' (or more specifically, 'Through the Looking Glass'), although what it really reminds me of is the Narnia books.

It was shown in 3-D before some of the screenings of the new 'Alice in Wonderland' movie. (Tom and I just saw that movie, but we didn't see any of the ads/previews, since we got there just as the movie itself was starting.)
There's a whole series of "Psychedelic" Friskies commercials, but the others are much shorter. I think no matter what you feed your cat, though, they aren't going to see such bright colors! (Cats aren't color-blind, as was previously thought, but they seem to have much less color vision than humans.)
My kitties don't get Friskies food. Squeaky, the cat in my current icon, is in the early stages of kidney failure, so my cats get special "Prescription Diet" food. Tonight, though, they also got a heaping helping of catnip. Now, I bet that's more psychedelic than any cat food!
