A quote for today
"Most people want to be delivered from temptation but would like it to keep in touch."
Unfortunately I can't remember who I am quoting. I like this because it applies in so many ways to my life. Dieting as I am, I still would not like all the chocolate in the world to disappear. I can still imagine its taste and texture. And if I have been very,very good I can have some. What a flavorless world if there were no chocolate. And how about good looking men? I want them to look at and admire and to be tempting. How dull if they were all plain, and boring. Again I like them for that imagination value. Temptation to do nothing but curl up with a good book instead of doing my housework- that one I am not too good at being delivered from but it gives a balance to my time. I will read just one more chapter or maybe two and then I'll get to those dishes. How about you? What tempts you that would either make your life duller without its existence ? Or is there something you would like to be delivered from totally?
