I WAS HACKED!
Noone seems to much read when I post here, but I thought I'd put this here anyway.
All of my email accounts were hacked. The hacker has been sending out emails asking for money and claiming to be me. Most ppl who have contacted me to tell me this had happened knew it was obviously NOT me--but just in case you've gotten recent mail from me saying I am in trouble in London--well--I am NOT :P
I have recovered most of my accounts but am still having issues with my oldest hotmail acct and my gmail acct. Hopefully I will regain access to them soon (several things have been sent to hot mail) and they will be intact!
Well, my days of not being overly careful about net security are over :P I just don't know what else I need to do to fix (and then prevent) the problem now. Running Spybot on the infected computer turns up NOTHING. *sigh*
Anyway--that's the deal--sorry if you got one of the bogus emails from the hacker.
