The Best Laid Plans

Well so much for the bright yellow bumble bee dress. I didn't have nearly as much of the fabric as I thought I did so there will be no doublet dress out of the fabric. The doublet is cut out and looks simply fabulous but I'm far short on having enough fabric for the skirt....*sigh* Well I guess I'll be using the pale yellow instead, not really wild about it because it's a plain yellow fabric, I'll be dressing it up with red gimp trim that I have in my trim box unless I find some other fabric to make bands out of for decoration.

I will simply have to start keeping my eyes open for more of the bright yellow so that I can finish it at a later date. I am glad I have the never ending room of fabric...
