so, I'm at school, listening to a lecture that I missed (somebody was oh-so-kind)
And, POMPEII is being discussed. As it is this microcosm of Roman Imperial life that was frozen in time (when it was *buried* under *ash* from a nearby *volcano*).
And this one girl, she *asks* about the sidewalks.
She asks if they had cars back then.

ha, this is like, when i took government class senior year.
And the teacher was like, ok, so, how many states are there? And he got some 48s, a bunch of 50s, duh, and then, the 52.
52?
Yeah, what about Alaska and Hawaii.
right.

Its been my mistake lately for focusing my energies on smaller examples. My bad.
