(no subject)
It's twenty after 3 and most of the office has gone to some sort of awards dealy. I stayed here to answer the phone. There's been 2 calls, and one was a wrong number. I've been staring at the computer for so long that my eyes feel like they're bleeding. I'm so bored that I'm writing on my G.D livejoural.
I'm done at this place at the end of the week. I've applied as a receptionist for the coast, but they kind of suck, and seem mostly illiterate, so I probably won't get it. Does anyone know of any good jobs going these days? Ideally, I'm looking for something with decent hours, good pay, minimally racist environment, and some place where I don't get called "hon" by sleazy contractors. I'd really like to avoid anything involving poles and multi-situational script books containing the word "naughty" (mostly because I like jobs that I can tell my mom about).
--Weirdsmobile!!!! Fella and I are moving in together. Next fucking month! It occurred to me recently that I have been functioning- High functioning!- like a normal human being with normal human being feelings with Fella for over six months now and I hardly feel crazy at all. That in and of itself freaks me right out. I think we're going to have a massive party once we move in, just to show off and be all obnoxious-contented. You should come.
Oh, just a note- don't molest your friends. Seriously. They will NOT like it, and no matter how drunk you are, or think that you are, it is not okay, and it is not possible to just ignore it like it never happened. Just a note
