Yeah!!
My exams are finally over ... 2 months of continuous hard work and 3 weeks of well deserved break ...
Just to keep you posted what is going on in my life ... I have been in UK for the past 3 months since Jan (time flies) and been in and out of classes every day ... the faculty is great and been really supportive, my school is wonderful and full of good old English character - it used to be a castle to a Duke ..
Anyway, life been pretty hectic since I got here ther key highlights:
1. arriving on my program 3 days late (becuase of visa problem with UK EMBASSY - they are really not as efficient as Singapore)
2. and having to settle in (loads of logisitcs, home, mobile, health check, blah blah)
3. catch up with school work and gym - school been a hectic Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm affair - we covered intensively on the basic foundations of business school like finance, marketing, operations, leadership (my school is well known for its leadership program and it deserves the credit - I came to realise what I want in my life through the exploration program - something I wished my first degree offered me), strategy (my favorite subject) and others
4. manage the emotional upswing of not seeing my family and frens for Chinese New Year (and all the yummy food)
5. then followed by a crazy 1 week break to complete 3 formative (not included in final grade) papers - for PEOPLE PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE (my school conducts classes based on these 3 broad areas). Surprising my hard work paid off, my PERFORMANCE (FINANCE) paper got the best grade in class and I learnt a great deal doing it - for one, I am not longer going *GROAN - company annual report?
6. classes resumed after the one week break (if you can call it a break) and we were quickly thrown into more models and knowledge to cram into our exams
7. The exams which happened over the last couple of days went by so quickly (thank GOD) and was such a hectic period trying to cram all the readings and textbook knowledge into my pea brain over 1.5 weeks (prior to that class were still the typical 9 to 6). For once in my life, I been so scared of picking up a new article to read - all good stuff but just so painful. It is really funny but I think the reading I did was more than the amount of non-fictional reading I did since I finished my first degree in NTU ...
8. In the process of revising, the snow came over London (a rare treat - think the first in last 40 years) to have snow this late and particularly in London .. attached is a pic of the snow taken from my school library while I was mugging ...
9. Last 3 days was a period of extreme pressure for my class (and in part relief). Consider this - a class of middle aged people (all above 30 years of age), going back to business school and having to read so much and write continuously in the exam - I forgot the feeling of FERVENT WRITING for the longest time - not the most fondest memory for me.
So that's what been going on in my life for the past 3 months - looking forward to subsequent classes after my break which is about applying the knowledge we gotten and no more exams but loads of written graded assignments ... for now, I am just looking forward to seeing my friends:
1. now to 7th Apr: Joanne is here with her mate, Gabriel
2. 8th to 14th Apr: Jasmine is visiting me!
3. 18th to 26th Apr: I will be seeing Serene in ATHENS! COOL! WIll take loads of pictures ... and post them on my facebook:

Oh and to end this post, I am going to add a pic of a pair of sculptured angels found in the chapel of my school. This is a really nice piece ...
