Return to LJ - in UK now!
Finally got some time to devote to writing my online blog .. sorry folks for not being here much ...
As it is - I am too engrossed in school work (now doing my MBA in ashridge management college www.ashridge.org.uk) - really beautiful school .. and since arriving in Jan - I have been trying hard to settle in, which I can gladly say I am almost there :)
Oh - big decision shift to further my education (and turn down 2 job offers in the process - both high paying jobs). I am glad for this move though - think I am gonna make a firm impact on helping to make the world a better place (and this is not some speech from Ms. Congeniality) but a real concern for world issues and trying to use the forces of corporation to help make the world a more desirable place for all - what otherwise known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Yup, that's my specialization and my future career direction - took me 7 years to realise I could have the capacity to do something for the world rather than jon the ratrace.
Ashridge is wonderful - and I think I been blessed by God for making this decision - was not the easiest and I had his support to see me through it. Life is taking a new path - I am so excited about it!
Anyway, am listening to this song while typing this entry:
I think the song is very representative - both in context of how I see life and how I been denying myself of that path I always wanted ....
Well - glad to be back - will be in UK for 1 year and taking this time to improve my knowledge and learn a great deal. Watch out for my next post!
