Repeat post: Interesting number 9
Do you have a favourite number? Well, for me, it is always 2 - for no other reason than I seem to just like it and I think it is so beautiful to write. I am not always a top person so number 1 does not go very well with me. Anyway, I guess number 2 is always regarded less highly than number 1 - maybe for that, I like number 2 better (for I would like to think that even being number 2 is not always a bad thing).
Someone told me he likes number 9 today. And the reason ....
NUmber 9 is a magical number. When u use any number and multiply by 9, add up the individual numbers with the result and you get a number ending with 9. Eg:
8 x 9 = 72 (8 + 72 + 9) = 89
So amazing right?
And he said something that makes alot of sense - 9 represent eternity in Chinese. 九 sound like 久 so no wonder we always give wedding couple ang bao in xx9 .... hm .... very interesting logic .. and nice number.
