Sorry for the wait, I am swamped with midterms and retarded design projects that will definately not be going in my portfolio :(. The only reason I can sustain this many updates is because I drew pages during the winter break, so all I'm doing is inking, scanning, and toning. I've been writing new chapters under the hair dryer to save my time for other things. I thought of a funny/romantic chapter but it seems like I wont be able to do it for a long while. It's tough to develop these characters to the point where I can start the romance.

I noticed something that worries/concerns me, the faces seemed really chipmunkish, you know, very squished and fat. I KNOW that I draw the faces a little on the long/narrow side on purpose so that the characters dont look too young. I went back to my original drawings and the faces were longer, so this means my scanner is distorting my image. I actually stretched out the page in Photoshop, but its not exactly the way I drew it. The last two frames are rectangular, but look more like squares now. I'm pissed about this, not sure if this fault is recent or not, Im definately not going back to the old pages to correct this, but I hope it's fixable.

I finally found a summer job at a golf club as a waitress. We get paid 8 bucks an hour plus tips. I lied on my resume and said that I worked at a shoe store this past summer, my friend works at this store and told me to put her as a reference. I asked a bunch of people what they thought of this and everyone agreed that it needed to be done or I'd never get another job. (Out of work since 2002 because I dont want to work during the school year). I went to so many interviews and finally got hired at one of the public clubs, the private ones wanted previous experience or your dad had to be a member. Pfft. So now my mother is freaking out because she thinks the interviewer will do checks on me and find out that I didn't actually work at the shoe place.
