I am snagging this meme I saw from most of my LJ friends. I hardly update here now but I've been semi-alive in
my wordpress since November. This is a nice meme. Whattayear. And I have 20 more days. Who knows what can still happen?
Go to your Calendar and find the first entry for each month of 2007. Post the first line of it in your journal, and that's your "Year In Review."
January: A year ago today,
I made a short list of things I want to do or want to still be for 2006![](http://i.ixnp.com/images/v3.6.2/t.gif)
. So far, okay naman ang compliance rate.
February: I said last night that whatever reactions I hear about my stand on this whole event, I will just take it in stride. I think I’ve done well on the first test given to me. In a very lengthy e-mail I did not even bother to dissect, I did not try to defend myself entirely because nothing will change- they’re already angry, and that’s their venue to vent.
March: Life is very good to me. I can only provide specifics in the coming weeks. For now, let's just say my upsetting February-ender turned 180 degrees for the better only on the second day of March.
April: Read below for the coherent posts. This one's an outlet of randomness.
See, I was checking my Amazon account when I saw this on the main page: (picture) The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil
May: I’m back since Friday but with the flurry of activities, it’s very hard to grab some time to sit down and rest. I’m loving it though except that I’ve been eating too much just so I can cope with the pace.
June: I’m back on the grinding machine since Tuesday. When the plane landed on Monday, I knew it’s over.
July: Romeos dying
Emotionally dying, I mean. I was surprised with my male friends who are so emotionally distraught lately.
August: Short days come and go but lately they swing by almost regularly. I have been inhumanely occupied by this team building project that we’re having next week.
September: I am happy to have made it to the last day of the Manila International Book Fair.
October: After several “organ” replacements, my computer is up and running again. Sure, it lost everything I filled it with for the last six months but who’s whining? Not me. Seriously.
November: I’ve put off importing my entries from
my blogspot until something hit me today and I found myself doing it. Now, if you kindly go down this page and look at my sidebar, my Archives extend as far back as February 2004.
December: Fire -
I’ve been asleep for an hour when I felt something warm in my cheek. I thought it was odd because I was put to sleep by the very cold wind slapping my face - I sleep with all my windows open to save electricity, by the way. Seconds later my mother was shouting at me to get up because the house next door was on fire. It wasn’t really but the house at the back of it was.
-
I read resolutions, a friendship ending, lots of activities, work blessings, work dilemma, going back to the past, an almost-tragedy, and a love-hate relationship with my computer. Indeed, what a year.
