So this weekend (25th & 26th Oct) marked the closing of Robbins Crossing for the season. It's been a long year, but it's nice to have friends. Meta (not sure of the spelling) has graciously loaned me the use of her Indigo Hound 2-pitch combs for the winter. Let's see, this past weekend was interesting. It was our Kingdom Crown Tourney (Middle Kingdom) and I participated in the Craftspersons' Faire (coordinated by my protegee Sister, Fiadnata). Bleh. Sometimes I have a hard time staying on track and focused with my research. Or at least, not getting discouraged by the various obstacles... lack of physical evidence, not being able to go to some of the sites in question (another country), not getting responses from museums or universities because I'm not a member of a university, etcetera ( Read more... )
