My new (to me) loom!
Well, Mom & Dad's visit this past Wednesday was a successful one I think. *smile* Mom loves to give me just a day or two of notice before they come over to see Bryian and me - I think it's because she enjoys the fact that it puts me in a bit of a panic. At least the house is cleaner now. *wry grin*
Anyway, the reason for their visit was to drop off a couple of looms to me. They are ones she's had for some time but never did anything with. The smaller loom is a Leclerc Nilec - if I'm identifying it correctly and is no longer in production by Leclerc. The other, larger loom, is identified as a Leclerc Nilus, but it doesn't look like any of the pictures I've seen of a Nilus. The loom I have looks more like a table loom that was put on a stand...

If anyone knows where to locate the serial number or whatnot, I'd appreciate it. I plan to go over it thoroughly this weekend in my tuning up the loom. I hope that I can start weaving on it soon. I will also get the little Nilec tuned up for weaving and take some pictures of it.
