Back from Europe

I've now had my four weeks away from home, and I am ready to kick back and get back into the net. I've missed everyone soooo much, and it's damn good to be home, but I've had a great time out and about as well.

My family and I drive around with our caravan, which enables us to see a lot of different places. This summer we've been in Germany, Italy, the Chzec Republic, Denmark and Austria. We've seen gorgeous churches and great museums, endless beaches and hot guys. ^^ I danced Samba on the beach with a hot, coloured man from the Dominican Republic, he was cool, and sat opposite a super-cute-and-sexy-Harry-Potter-look-alike on the bus. I've never checked out guys like I have this summer.

In Germany I bought myself Tekken Tag for PS2. It was cheap and I was really happy...until I opened the box, in Denmark a few days later. It was empty. They had forgotten to place the CD in it! I'm thinking of sending them a mail and explaining the situation, but the chance of getting a new game is tiny. Besides that I am drawn between buying myself PS2 or waiting for PS3. The issue is whether or not they will make all the Tekken games available for PS3.

In Vienna I bought HBP, and I finished it in a few days. I cried a lot when Dumbledore died, of course, and I admit that I didn't expect it to happen. It seems a bit dark at the moment, but I know it's going to be allright in the end, one way or another.

Snape is not a bad guy. I knew that Dumbledore had to have some better reason to trust him besides his story that he was sorry that James and Lilly died. It was so lame. If you wanna know what makes me so sure that he is not bad then you should read this: http://www.livejournal.com/users/fabularasa/27100.html Fabularasa has got it right. I am convinced. But there is one detail that she doesn't mention; what about the portraits in the headmaster's office. Dumbledore is there, fully able to communicate with the world around him. Doesn't that...pretty much solve things? Sort of?

I have high hopes for Draco's future, as long as the Dark Lord doesn't kill him for failing to murder Dumbledore. The bathroom scene was the best! I loved the way Harry was so shaken because Draco was really crying. I had to read the scene twice. Apart from that, however, I was disappointed at the lack of slash in the book. Harry's obsession with Draco was nice, though.

The couples...Ron/Hermione had been coming from the very first book. I think they are cute, although their communication problems are really annoying. Harry/Ginny...I don't like it, I'm a H/D shipper, so I don't like it, but of course I knew that it would never actually be any real slash in the books. Remus/Tonks was kinda cute as well, and Remus really deserves some love, but I miss Sirius.

I have a lot of other things to write about, details and stuff, but I'll leave it at that for now. Have a nice Summer everyone. ^_____^
