Ain't no rest for the wicked
Wow yeah so it's been a while since I talked on here. The last thing that happened to me I talked about was obviously my break up. Everything is fine with me as far as being broken up goes. Not a whole lot has happened since my last post which is why I haven't bothered posting on here. But now I feel it's time to talk about something that has recently happened. I've been meaning to talk about it sooner but now that I know more about it I feel I can speak about it without much trouble.
Recently my Mother found out that she has a tumor. We found this out after she had been having problems with hemroids and was fed up with them and was going to get a doctor to look at them and instead of it being what we thought it turned out to be a tumor. This of course made both of us shocked and very scared since we didn't know anything but just it was there. There were more doctor visits after that and finally a biopsy was taken on her tumor. I can now confirm that it is cancerous, and it seems to be a form of skin cancer oddly enough cause of it's placement. The good news, because you gotta find some good in all this is that there is just one tumor, no further spreading has occured. What's going to happen now is that she'll probably be going under chemotherapy soon, and surgery will follow, and possibly more chemo, but I'm not exactly sure of the details. The stage of treatment we are in right now is the middle part where you found out what you have and how you go about fixing it. From what we know though it is operable but the bad news to that is my Mother will have to use a bag for the rest of her life to take care of her bathroom business. A small price to pay though considering it is cancer and the worst news could be death so, we're going with the bag option like any normal person would.
That's the story so far about her. After more is done I'll update the page again with the details of how she is doing. I really don't expect her to be fully recovered until next year since she is without insurance and it's slowing this whole process down. It's really just a waiting game right now.
