11 days to go: redux
Okay, LJ redux. I screwed up AGAIN. Elf meter goes up, internet competency goes down. There's no help for it.
Don't think I announced this, but I'm having a wine and cheese (except a little more than that) social for the attorneys/paralegals after the office Christmas party December 20th. My first in my new place. Eeeek! I sprang this on myself last week and mean to keep my word. (Schizo? What are you talking about it?). Anyway I've sprung into action getting the place presentable. The chandelier has been hung (after languishig in a box for over 7 months). The balcony outlet is fixed. The floors are mopped. All the decorations are up. The carpet is vacuumed but needs some cleaning in spots. Cleaning the bathroom and tidying the kitchen remains. Oh, and buying the food platter and booze. Will continue the unprecedented activity this weekend.
I gotta get up up at dark o'thirty in the morning and put in 6 hours comp time.
