Beer tastes better when you open it...
with a lighter!!!!!
I've always wanted to know how to open a beer bottle with a lighter. I finally did it about 15 minutes ago... i'm going to try it again just to make sure it was not a fluke!!!!!
well... i went to visit Chris.. my former co-worker from Disney.. His brother-in-law demonstrated how to open the bottle with a lighter.... I needed to have the other end of the lighter at a higher angle... and it popped off!!!
*this just in.... not a fluke... just did it again :) * Now i need a new lighter because the bottom of the lighter is practically destroyed because of my many... MANY attempts before...
hmmmmmm... so what's new with me?????
- work has been a pain... then again... when has it not been a pain... it's either i'm bored with nothing to do or we get slammed with a project with an unrealistic deadline....
But at least the good thing right now is that I'm a month away from being with the company for a year.. which means the "probation" period is over and it becomes a bit harder to fire me :-p
- tried to get my ps3 this week. Unfortunately, when I tried to redeem my sony points, my credit cards were declined. Went and called up the credit card companies and they said that the did receive my charges, but they did not decline them... they were approved... it's a mess i hope to get completely sorted by Monday or Tuesday so I can get my PS3!!!
- Thai Elvis... before the movie, we went out to the Palm Thai restaurant... where... Thai Elvis performs. I've got to admit, this guy is pretty damn good!! he even sang, "only fools rush in"!!! damn good song!! and the food there was great as well. Tasteful and filling. I recommend the Deep Fried Trout with Mango sauce :)
- Saw The Dark Knight on Friday night. I admit, i was a bit buzzed when I watched it, but i enjoyed it tremendously! Definitely look out for the pencil scene with the joker ;) I really think that the Joker pretty much made the movie for me... got to love how wicked they made the Joker this time around :-D
May Heath Ledger rest in peace... he left us with an unforgettable performance ;)
Today....
- went to Simi Valley to visit an old friend/co-worker. I couldn't stay long, but it was fun catching up with him and playing mario kart on the wii :) The motorcycle is one hell of an improvement ;) it's great... except for on ice.
- went with my cousin to a friend's house to watch the Affliction: Banned PPV. I got there at about 7 and the PPV started at 6. I missed a few fights, but what I saw was kickass!!!!
Andrei Arlovski killed Ben Rothwell!!! He even got blood droplets on the camera!!!
Fedor just proves why he's the best damn fighter in the world. Now I've watched some of this guy's fights while he was in pride and while effective, he didnt really wow me... I will now shut the hell up after tonight... he made Sylvia his bitch in 36 seconds!!!!
I really think that Affliction did a good job with this MMA PPV and I hope that they do more :) It would be nice to get a Fedor v. Couture on the next ppv... but that'll remain to be seen.
and that's all out of me.......
