That vindication feeling....
Let's see... where can i possibly start?
- I'm home in Rancho this weekend and for the most part, it was pretty fun!!!! This weekend was definitely what I needed!!!
today was mostly hanging with the gang:
- The newlyweds (Brian and LeeAnne)
- The old married couple (Toby and Shanelle) :-p
And then... rounding things out... Me, Colin and Little Bryan ;)
- Colin's parents rented out a theater screen to watch the new Indiana Jones movie. I kinda cheated and saw it the Friday it came out :-p But watching it a second time, I caught quite a bit of things that I didn't catch before ;)
- Yes when I saw the movie before, I took a pic of the motorcycle used in the photo... Hope Colin likes the pics :-p
- Also, today.... me and my terrible driving streak came back :-p. I haven't driven like a bloody demon in AGES!!!!!! I thought I was going to be late to the movie showing this morning... i had to get to the theater, which was 28 miles from my parents house.. had less than an hr to make it. On the way there... i was going at least 85 there.... weaving in and out of lanes just to get there asap :-p
And on the way to Colin's.... the crappy speed demon driving continued! I blew by Colin going about 95, but unfortunately, he got to the his place first.. eh well... good times nonetheless ;)
- More good times ensued at Colin's :) LOTS of drinking :) and lots of conversation ;) and here's where a shitload of vindication came in....
Apparently, I was the highlight of Brian's bachelor party. I dont remember ANY of the one-liners/zingers/jokes that I threw... I must have been myself because I was tossing cracks like it was damn natural!!!(according to Brian) Pretty much.... I was a HUGE reason that he had the best damn time that day :) Yes, this was more than likely before drunkenness occurred!!!!
LeeAnne actually brought up the fact that I actually pursued her first!!!! I seriously thought that was NEVER going to be brought up ever again!!! After talking it out... I still came out smiling :)
Seriously, at first.... I pursued LeeAnne, Kristen fucked things up, LeeAnne was somewhat interested in me.... and that's it... Brian had more in common with her... I was extremely angry, at first, when he started pursuing her!!!!!!!
It was one of the major reasons why I started lifting weights like a madman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the reasons why being 19 was the best and worst of times!!!
but all in all, things worked out for the better :) Brian and LeeAnne freekin belong together, and I get the nice nudge (best thing I can think of right now) that a beautiful girl was damn interested in me at one time....
and who knows, maybe someone as beautiful (or even MORE beautiful:-p ) will fall for me ;)
Bottom line... there is bloody hope for me!!!!!! I just needed to be reminded of that :)
I also needed to be reminded of how much I mean to my friends and it's damn appreciative!!! I also try my damnedest to try to show them how much I appreciate their friendship. Even though, sometimes, it just doesn't come out right.
More funny moments today...
- Kristen texted me.... Brian was sitting next to me while were all talking, and pretty damn drunk at this time i might add.... Brian basically was behind some of the responses, which were pretty hilarious!!!!
- LeeAnne grabbed my phone and texted her sis ;) Let's just say.... it was damn hilarious!!!!! Wait up :-p... truth was.... I let LeeAnne borrow my phone so that she could mess with Ellie :-D!!! *evil grin*
- We later went in and played Rock band for a bit. Then for some reason, the conversation turned to Love... and Colin was nowhere to be found!!!!! we were looking everywhere!! Me and Little Bryan looked in the garage twice!!!! I found Colin a 3rd time by luck... Yes he was in the garage!!!! but he blended into the wall (with what he had on) that we couldn't see him the first 2 times!!! it was when I shut the door a little hard that a beer bottle fell and BAM!!!! found him!!!!!
Brian, Little Bryan and LeeAnne were outside looking for him in front!!!!!!!
and that's about it for today:) I declare this to be the best weekend i've had in a long while and something I definitely needed before Monday when my big boss comes in and gives me my review. And when I mean my Big Boss giving me my review... I mean my supervisor reporting his observations :-p I'll do my best to explain myself, but eh.... just roll with the punches for now...
And with that, i'm getting to bed!!!
