met the quarterback
so our team's alumni contact asked a few of us to drive to santa ana this morning to be at the city council meeting in which they were naming today matt leinart day in orange county. so three of us drove down there in rush hour traffic and got to meet matt, who didn't seem all that happy to have a day in his honor, which i thought was kinda strange, and somewhat ungrateful. then he gave a canned speech about how important it is for him to finish his education, which didn't really make sense since he said he's graduating in two weeks. why would he stay for his last year of eligability if his education was already done? oh well, so i wound up missing my morning classes, which kinda sucked, but oh well. overall it was really chaotic and an overall waste of time.
