Alright, so - still sick! I wouldn't be to worried about it, but young Duke Von Loomenstein has mentioned that he's come down with the wonderful Mononucleosis. Kim's been sick for better than a week, and now here I am! If I get really badly sick, I've never been really down for more than a day or so. This shit will NOT quit, though. I've tried going to work and it's just not going on at all. I'm reduced to having to call in sick tomorrow and take having a writeup because I CAN NOT SPEAK. Halfway I wish I *DO* have mono just so they have to pay me for 4 weeks off the phone, but on the other hand - being sick blows goatnuts.
I was looking online at some of the medical websites and whatnot to see if I should really be all that worried. Unfortunately I only seem capable of finding flowcharts meant to drive paranoid hypochondriacs into a bloodslinging frenzy. The typical flowchart so far looks like -
1 - Is your throat unusually sore for an extended period of time? If yes, continue to question 2.
2 - Are your lymph nodes swollen around your neck. If yes, YOU HAVE MONO OMFG JESUS!!!1!!! UR T3H DYIGN!!!1!111!!!
So I'm not too horridly concerned right now but I'm still going to try and get a checkup tomorrow. Or the next day. or ...
