Mechwarrior 4: Mercs is about fifty hundred times better with an appropriate joystick. Oh laws yas. However, there's some serious problems between my wireless mouse receiver and my wireless joystick receiver. I got up this morning and couldn't use my mouse, or my keyboard, because I had tried to use my mouse and somehow it had actually gotten a connection established with the joystick receiver and had made poor Espada's harddrive have an annuerism. Anyone who knows how the ass to get around that beyond "Seperate the two receivers" please speak up. I can't get them too far apart because their cords are kinda short, and I'm not dumping cash into a USB extension. Boo.
Anyone who has played Dark Cloud 2 let me know as well, because with the next paycheck I think I may end up getting that. It looks like hella fun and something Kim would really like to play as well. She's a sim fanatic and so am I, so I think the advertised system of invention and world crafting would have us rapt for hours. Or stabbing each others eyes out over what should go where. Ah, love.
Jed called last night and mentioned Crane won the Detroit tournament he and Kim ran off to this weekend. That only bothers me a little because Crane have won nearly nothing recently, yet people persisted in whining about how broken they are... and now they're just gonna bitch louder because this is two tournaments in less than a month. I don't know why I'm mentioning this except as a reminder to myself not to care.
