OK, so since Duckman is going back to school, and the house is so cluttered that there is really only one room in which he can study, and that is the same room as the TV, and I will not give up my TV addiction (really, I can quit anytime), I am taking an apartment for the school season. It is really a great apartment, details to follow once I've moved in and have been living there for a while. The apartment is located down the hill and across the river from where I work, so it's very handy. I'll probably be walking to and from until it gets too cold. Do I sound like a fit-freak? Ha! It's really 'cause I'm just too impatiant to wait for the buses. I can cover a lot of distance in 15 minutes. And I find that I get cold, tired, and cranky standing around, waiting.
Anyhoo, magista and Frohicky are offically invited for a chili-night once I've moved in. Plus, I've got a stove with an oven, so eventually there will be ribs! There may even be, at some point, fresh, home-made cookies!
New topic, Duckman and I went to see War of the Worlds last night. It's not one of those happy-go-lucky disaster movies that they usually put out. Intense.
Finally got a copy of Eats, Shoots and Leaves, at 40% off no less. Woo! And may I add, hoo!
Also, quick up-date on the fall TV schedule. Veronica Mars will premier on Sept. 28th. Was originally the 21st, but it has been delayed for a week to make room for some other silly show that UPN wants to air.
