Flooded
It's been raining a lot lately and the basement leaked once before, but since it's been raining so much without much sign of water, I got lax in checking the basement. Duckman comes home and heads straight down, and lo and behold, there is a pool of water snaking its way across the floor. Duckman converts the shop-vac to "wet". I alternatly squeegie and mop. Between the two of us, we the water pulled up in about 2 1/2 hours.
So, if anyone is looking to buy a house, how about a lovely, three bedroom fixer-upper, well ventilated, with lots of running water at your disposal, and a finished basement.
Yep, it's finished all right.
