The results have been returned for the Grade 2 W.O.M.B.A.T.S and I achieved an Exceeds Expectations. I'm fairly happy with that, since I only cheated on one answer. (Hags apparantly eat small children. I did not know this.) Next time, I'm hoping for an Outstanding.
The Duckman and I had a lovely Thanksgiving. We had a M&M Meatshops stuffed turkey breast and all the fixings. I even put vegetables around the turkey to roast and made gravy. Note to self: next time add fewer pieces of onion, and put them in toward the last half hour of roasting so that the gavy tastes less like burnt onions and more like yummy roasted veggies.
Last night, I dreamt I was getting married. I was almost ready to go down the aisle, looking perfect, when I realized I'd forgotten something. One task led to another, and by the time everything was done, my dress was wrinkled and dirty, my hair was a mess, and everything was generally ruined. Then I woke up. Very odd dream, considering I have no intentions of getting married, whatsoever.
I also watched 10 Things I Hate About you, which is based on The Taming of the Shrew, the same way Clueless was based on Emma. It was friggin' hilarious!! I highly recommend it. Yes, it's a high-school-type flick, but too funny!
I enjoyed the last 15 minutes of Veronica Mars. Why only the last 15 minutes, you ask? Because when it began, I was sitting in a library, happily surfing, until I ready mazzydp's post with her thoughts on various shows, the first being VM, and I thought to myself, "Wow, that's early! It hasn't even started yet." And then I checked the time and realized it was three minutes in. I missed one bus by seconds, and had to wait 30 minutes for the next one. Then there was the walking/sprinting/running/out-of-breathness/slowing-back-to-a-walk/catching-of-breath-and-more-sprinting, etc. But I got to see some.
And Dr. Who is back on CBC. YAY!
Re. Gilmore Girls, Michele can't swallow when he gets excited? Too easy!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, the Trailer Park Boys Movie: The Big Dirty was released on October 6th.
