when bad things happen...they happen one after the other
Alright, so...im pretty sure i posted about twisting my ankle the other night playing basketball. Yeah, if i didn't, it really hurts and it's pretty much the darkest color purple ever...Anyway...
I was out in service yesterday and we were standing at this return visits door for easily, a half an hour chatting it away. Well, it starting hurting standing on my foot for so long. I wasnt too worried because i knew we were about to leave so i could sit...so i just waited it out. Anyway, im standing there with my hand on the door handle and i got really hot really fast and got super dizzy...so im just thinking to myself man, i wonder if im going to throw up. Weird...then like, it was SOOO weird i started to not be able to see anything like, things were getting black and...next thing i know, my friend Dee who had the call is holding my head up off the ground asking me if ive passed out before haha...and the old 86 year old lady that we were calling on is in the kitchen calling 911. Thank goodness i talked her out of it. So im laying there on the ground and this 86 year old MAN decides he wants to help me up and put me in a chair. I tried to talk him out of it but he picked me right up and put me in the chair haha. Interesting. Anyway...i sat there for a bit and i was fine so i went home...got doctored up and Jodie and my mom decided it was best to go to the hospital. My mom was telling me since i passed out...that my foot might have blood poisoning since it's been swollen for so long. So, i was kind of scared haha.
So we get to the hospital and im standing there leaning on the counter and jodie told me that i started singing a song really quietly and she thought i was going crazy so she had to hold me there against the counter until we were done filling out paper work haha. Anyway, the lady said since i was so swollen and i passed out they would rush me back into a room...which has never happened to me...ive had worse problems in a hospital and have had to wait FOREVER.
So...i get back there and of course they take a bunch of info...which probably took about an hour. Finally they take me to get my xrays. Theeen they have to do this thing to test your heart where you get a bunch of wires attached to you which was pretty awkward. AND thheeeen they had to take 4 things of blood! 4! I was soooo tired after that haha. AND THEN! They had to take my blood pressure in 3 different positions, laying down, sitting, and standing. My arm was pretty much dead after that haha. Then i guess that was about it but all of that took 3 hours. Gosh it was so boring haha.
Anyway, im fine. They said i passed out because the pain in my foot made my blood pressure drop for a minute. So im super healthy which is good to know :) Now i have my foot all up in a splint because i chipped a few bones and im supposed to be using crutches but i hate them so im not :).
