//It felt to me unnecessary and the music was super cheesy. LOL but that frankly is but a small complaint because I think the episode was really great.//
Heh, the music was a little cheesy. But overall, I liked the scene because I think it was supposed to be a little dramatic and big. And with the music and the JL-ers, and the whole thing, it sort of just gelled together.
//I was very glad and pleasantly surprised that SV took those on this week. I was also glad we got a little of the Chlark friendship and I loved the ending scene with Clark bringing Chloe coffee and bagels. There's been a lack of that on the show lately and while I may complain about Chloe I do like the small moments between Clark and her.//
Agreed on both counts. And the Chlark scene was such a pleasant change because it was just normal, you know? Every once in a while you need this kind of scene to keep their dynamic fresh.
ED was very good, but TW just stole the show.
//Mostly what I think this episode did which SV sometimes fails to do is that it put things together. It showed all their characters in a slightly different light and allowed us as a viewer insights that we wouldn't have gotten otherwise.//
I enjoyed the Chlark for the first time in a long time and I realized how much I had missed their friendship. I have gotten tired of Chloe basically still trying to tell Clark what to do.
TW just stole the show.
For an eppy I was sure would be Clark-lite he really made up for it!
