Action Comics 850

So a couple of weeks ago I read Action Comics 850. It's a Supergirl story and she's trying to find out about herself but uses Clark instead etc. Yeah I don't care much about Supergirl and this issue she didn't endear herself to me. That's just fine though cause I spent too much time enjoying a glimpse of Clark Kent. First through the years and ( Read more... )

Okay I'm back. The thing I like the best about this post is the way we both loved the same scenes and now I don't have to scan them but can just link everybody over here instead *g*

The mullet! It makes me laugh without fail. Especially since I can't look at it without imagining what Bruce's reaction to it must have been. But the best part of those pages? The old school shoes. I don't think I've ever gotten a good look at those things because I'm sure I would have remembered Clark wearing BALLET SHOES. Which is exactly what they look like. The hilarity.

Clark with the fridge and telling Martha that 'It's okay you get used to it' had me choked up and sniffing like a fool. I admit it. It's nice to be reminded of how touching Clark's relationship with the Kent's is isn't it? It's corny but awwww it gets to me anyways.

And just yes to everything you said. Busiek is slowly but surely winning me over. I resisted and didn't think that I could care less about the whole Arion storyline but I was wrong. And Pacheco's art! GORGEOUS. That panel of Clark sitting on the moon and looking out at the earth! I hope they both stay on the book for a long, long time.

Squee! Thank you. The Martha scene. Oh my god. It's exactly what she needed to hear and her son said it. I felt the same about the Camelot falls story line but I found myself intrigued. If I see Busiek's name on it I check it out. Again thank you for your wonderful comments!
