My slightly more coherent thoughts about the SPN season premiere

Okay, so I think it's needles to say that I FREAKING LOVED THE EP. *cough*

To me, it really looks like the show is heading towards the whole brother vs. brother deal. I think that's very interesting, as long as the show won't end with the brothers beíng enemies and eventually one of them having to kill the other. That's really all I'm asking for because I don't think I could live with that, haha. It's very interesting and also kinda sad how Sam and Dean both lied to eachother just to keep eachother safe. It kind of breaks my heart. Also Dean's line "What don't I know about the kid?" actually is kinda ironic, because apparently, there's a lot of stuff he doesn't know about.

Sam using his powers was pretty freaking amazing if you ask me, although at the same time I'm kinda worried. Sam's using the powers to save people but as we saw he couldn't save the girl and it makes me wonder how many possessed people have died the same way.  I'm also thinking that Sam needs to see he can save people after one year of trying to save his brother and failing and then trying to rescue him out of Hell and failing.  The way he talks about his powers it almost seems like he's somehow gotten addicted to them. I don't know, part of me wants to see Sam going dark side and part of me really doesn't.  This was actually the first episode that actually made me feel like Sam really could go dark side. I've never before gotten that kind "vibe" (haha) from him but apparently Dean being in Hell for four months without Sam being able to do anything about it has changed him a lot. In my opinion Sam acts very differently now than he has in the past. For some reason he creeped me out in this ep a lot. Oh, and I really don't think that Ruby is as innocent as she appears to be. I've got a bad feeling about her. (I liked Katie better as Ruby btw.)

I love Castiel. I love him a lot. He had the coolest entrance in the history of cool entrances. All the stuff he said to Dean has got me so excited for this season.  I don't think he really is a God's angel, though but if he is, does that mean Dean's on Heaven's side and Sam on Hell's? Whatever the case is one thing's for sure, season 4's going to kick ass.

Oh, and ofcourse I loved the reunions too! I think I got a bit teary-eyed during both of them.
Also, I loved the parallel between the Sam and Ruby's diner conversation in this episode and the one from The Kid's Are Alright. You can really see how much Sam has changed. I don't think the S3 Sam would've actually considered training his powers, much less using them since he was pretty sure he doesn't even have them anymore.

I guess that's about it. Can't wait for next week.
