Phew it's so hot out here. I can't wait until the storm breaks loose.
It has been a long while - again - and for that I am sorry. The room has been progressing very slowly, due to pup, and now the weather isn't really working along either. Not that I'm complaining. I just really can't wait to start sewing, and especially making Ila's new face and back works.
Anyhow, It has been some time ago as well, that I promised I would post pics of Prague. They aren't that awesome, and I forgot the one where I photographed one of the guards at Pražský hrad whom I made laugh..by well..being my weird self, moping because people with umbrella's kept stepping in the frame. It was cute, he was all 'ohshitimnotsupposedtolaugh' xD
I also have some pics of pup, and a few random ones of myself.
Here they come!
The palace.
The Gothic church there was so awesome, on Pražský Hrad. Although I might still like the Notre Dame better. But this kind of architecture so fits my story, and this particular one to Ila mostly, with all its religious art. <3
Architectural details <3
Inside the St. Vitus Cathedral. They had these painted glass windows there, done by Alphonse Mucha! <3
The sitting-corner of the cabin we stayed in. We were in there a lot, since the weather was so bad then, and made fires, ate baked goods from Paul (this wonderful bakery that's originally from Paris, we discovered them last year, and I was totally addicted :P You can't believe how happy I was when we found they had a place in Prague as well. xD)
It was a nice place to hang around, that cabin. Just a little unfortunate that we had to most of the time. xP
Picture my sis made of me, when I still had my dreads. She was all 'OMG the way you are sitting now makes you look like an alien, with that hair!!!'' so she tried to capture it. :)
My parents. xD Sluggards!
Big sis.
One of the last trips we made was to a large cave with a tour guide. It's always a very fascinating sensation to go so deep into the earth. And the tour-guide was a very weird, very awesome guy. He walked around like he was outside in the sun, instead of in a chilly cave.
There was this field down the hill, with all these hearts. It was such a wonderfully unexpected sight. I wish I could've made one for you guys and made a picture of that. xD
<3
Und now, some puppy shots!
Silas looooves to blow bubbles in his water tray. xD
The head-shots I made after someone posted a journal about the people you draw looking like yourself. It was quite peculiar to see it so closely, with these shots.
Muah, that's all for now! I'll be working on my room as hard as I can this weekend, so I can hopefully get my comp and desks up (you can't work without a desk hn xD)
Much love <3
