So I just got back from watching Garden State with a pretty lady. IT'S SUCH A FUCKING GOOD MOVIE!!
You wont believe how happy I am right now. About almost 24 hours ago we went to a bar, I had ONE drink and the rest of the night was just enjoying the company of my friends. So at the end I made a VERY stupid phone call and I figured she'd be super pissed and I would never get the chance to tell her. What followed was one LONG day. The closest thing I got to sleep was closing my eyes...but I didn't have peace of mind, at least not until now. My appetite was also lost, I guess it's just another side effect.
So after a long night of not sleeping. I woke up and kicked my fucking ass for being so stupid. After some consolidation from the o-so-wise and caring Erin I went to school. Once there I wandered campus like some sort of fucking zombie. Until I ran into Pete and Bernadette, that's when we all went for ice cream. Once we came back the power at VC had gone out and it gave me a chance to stand outside alone...admiring the chaos as a fire broke out on the hills. The sirens of the firetrucks and ambulance was the ambient sound that ran through my mind as I thought about what happened and what's going to happen. It turns out since the power went out we only stayed in class for half the time. So we decided to watch a movie afterwards.
After grabbing a bite to eat we watched it. Garden State, what a movie. I'm happy.
