IN SEATTLE

So you didn't move to Canada. Good! The world needs us in the streets, manifesting in a clear and visible way that there are two Americas, and at least half of us are determined to wrench the future out of the hands of Bush and crew. The January 20th protests are beginning to take shape. We've heard from several high schools and colleges planning walk-outs, we've heard from individuals taking the day off work, we've heard from artists planning productions and street theater. ANSWER is planning a 5pm rally at the Federal Building (2nd & Marion) which will be connected to NION's 2pm rally at Westlake (4th & Pine) by a march. But we all need to make a big push now and after the holidays for this day to reach its full potential. Yes, the re-election of Bush was a big defeat for the people of this country and the world that is already having serious and deadly repercussions. But it's time to pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, and get busy!!!

This is making me a bit angry...I haven't heard anything since this last email, and if they don't have any publicity, then no one will come...hmm...whatver they still have a month to get the words out, but still..you'd think they would advertise a BIT more..

Hmm I'm pretty sure there was somehitng worhtwile to post about....mm probly not. I discovered the other day that I have a really boring life. Huh. Maybe I should be grateful. Nah. I also discovered that I'm really bad at presents. Like I NEVER find the right gifts for the right people...and it is always so sad, cuz I get a lot of awesome things from awesome people. ALSO I need to run. Badly. NO, what i want to do is swim. If anyone knows the Mountlake Terrace lap swim hours that would be handy. Handy handy. Emma made Russian Teacakes and toffee...shit.

Oh Mah GEEEEEEE it's almost Christmas!
