fringesofsanity asked for this tutorial. This is for Photoshop Elements, but I'm pretty sure any of the higher Photoshops would work too.

Lighten Affect

So we are now starting with

Sometimes the colour you want to choose will be different depending on your picture. In my case, red worked best, but other times blue might be better. So please don't think red is the only colour to work with.










Again, this depends on the picture. Sometimes the picture is bright enough. Other times doing this will make the picture darker, but overall it should make the picture crisper. If the picture turns too dark, put a new layer over the SECOND base layer and fill it with a light shade of yellow. Then change the layer from NORMAL to SOFT LIGHT. Then toggle the opacity.
