(no subject)
This is my first post for over 6 months....since December 2006 in fact. Just to let anybody who might be interested know that I am still alive and haven't been kidnapped by aliens.
At the end of December I lost complete interest in the internet for a while, that only lasted a couple of weeks but when I came back to it I found I had no interest at all in anything to do with fandom. I didn't care at all about anybody, Elijah, Orlando, Russell, the Mighty Boosh, etc....and the idea of seeing a photo of them or reading a piece of fan fiction about them made me feel really sick. Writing about this now it seems strange but that was how I felt.
Towards the end of April, beginning of May I slowly started to become interested in my favourite celebrities again until now I find myself as interested as I was before.
However I hadn't come back to LJ for a few reasons. My cat Poppy was diagnosed with terminal jaw cancer and the stress of looking after her mean't I just couldn't face LJ. It was a very stressful time and very sadly Poppy passed away on the 13th of June 2007.
Since then I am still going through the bereavement process and to be honest I've been scared about coming back to to the huge backlog of material which will be on the LJ Comms that I belong to and I've yet to visit any of them.
However I now feel for the first time in ages like I want to begin making journal entries again. How frequent they will be I've no idea but at least I've got some interest and enthusiam back now.
