Title: Coffee
Word Count: 250
It had been a week since I transferred department. As days passed, well, I can say that I'm doing fine. I'm coping well and I've never been better.
Being with these weird people and having to work with them with ease, I guess I'm pretty weird too. And mostly, being with the same department with Junno, I can't help but daydream everytime. Just like this morning.
I'm on my way to the pantry to have my daily dose of caffeine when I saw him. Heading towards the same direction as mine. I fasten my pace so that I could catch up with him.
When he noticed me, it felt like the day seemed brighter and shinier. Having that smile on his lips, he cheerfully greeted me, "Ueda-san, ohayou!"
I greeted back timidly, not looking at him in the eye.
A few moments later, while both of us have a steaming cup of coffee in our hands. We reached for the door at the same time. Arms brushed lightly against each other. We looked back at each others eyes. His eyes gleaming and hypnotizing. He motioned me to go out first. Totally mesmerized by the sudden closeness, I went out the door first, a light tinge of pink slowly creeping on my cheeks. And my heart's beating wildly on my chest, I thought I'd have a heart attack.
I looked down at my coffee. 'Hmmm... Maybe I should lessen drinking coffee....' I told myself as I headed to my workstation.

Title: Tears
Word Count: 168
I was having a grand time walking and inhaling the fresh air near the park when I decided to rest for a while. I sat at one of the bench when I heard laughters nearby.
I found out that there was a wedding reception happening nearby. I peeked at them. The bride was so beautiful. I looked at the guy beside her, the groom. It was him. My first love and first heartache. I looked at his face. Pure of bliss and contentment. His eyes filled with love and affection as he looked at his bride.
I cried silently as I watched his happiness.
Tears can't seem to stop as I think back. As I remember our memories. Though all I remembered were the sad ones.
I sobbed uncontrollaby. Asking, why? Why didn't he love me like he loved her?
I looked up once again at the celebration. I smiled bitterly. 'I guess we're not really meant to be.' That's when I heard someone calling my name.

Title: Smile
Word Count: 136
"UEPI!" I heard someone yelled at me from behind. I saw him, waving excitedly at me. A huge smile never leaving his face as he jumped up and down trying to catch my attention.
I wiped the tears on my face before turning to face him. The corner of my mouth slightly went up forming a small smile.
There he was, standing a few feet away from me.
The man with the lamest jokes in the whole wide world.
The man who looked so handsome without even talking.
The man who made my heart beat so fast.
The man who made me feel different kinds of emotions in just a short while.
The man who brought my smile again. The man who made me feel and love again.
My happiness.
My dream.
My man.
My Junno.

Title: Moving On
Word Count: 284
It was beautiful and sunny day. A good time for a walk. So, I grabbed my keys and headed to the door. After locking it, I walked down the streets. I didn't know where I was going. I didn't even have a plan.
I just continued walking. I looked up at the clear blue sky. I can hear birds chirping nearby. I sat at one of the bench situated in the grass-filled park.
I can hear laughters somewhere. I looked sideways, I noticed a little commotion not far away from me. Seems like they were having a celebration. Tables and chairs arranged beautifully. Different kinds of flowers on top of each tables elegantly covered by white silky sheets.
It was a wedding reception by the park. I peered at them. I wanted to see the newlyweds.
From where I was sitting, I could take a glimpse of a woman all dressed in white, obviously, she's the bride. Haha! 'I'm so smart!'
I chuckled and turned my attention to the guy by her side. And obviously, it was the groom. LOL. He kind of looked familiar though.
I thought for a moment and was stunned. It was him. My first love. My first heartache. I smiled bitterly as I cried in silence.
"UEPI!" Someone called from behind me. I promptly brushed away my tears as I turned to look at the person calling me.
It was Junno. My precious Junno. Waving frantically at me.
I stood up and stood meters away from him, not moving an inch.
I took a step, looked back at the celebration and remembered my past.
I turned ahead, leaving my past behind and walked towards my future...
with Junno.
