Ham is baking. Glaze is waiting for the right time. I wish I had ordered yams and pineapple.
Potatoes are baking in the microwave.
Green beans are waiting for steaming when it's time.
The Tatoo just met the eggnog in my grandmother's crystal. Thanks Bah!
I'm as ready as I can ever be. Yes, I am without all my children and grandchildren... but I am not alone. Honey is here and Cheech, Sophie, Duke, Lizzie, Connor and Quinnie are all sleeping around me waiting for scraps.
And... you watch. At least a couple of my kids, who are grown and spread all over these United States will check in here during the day and remind me that I am loved.
