I just realized something
I could never live in Chicago. Its too cold, the winters are too long, and I just know that I would end up feeling shitty all the time because of the crappy weather. I know this because can barely stand it when it rains here.
There have been lots of times where I've second guessed coming to Cal just because I wonder what I've passed up at Chicago. I obviously would NOT be enjoying myself at Chicago if I can't even stand the rain here.
Thinking about that reduces so much dissonance
