Are things really that good in California again?

From what I understand, California now has a Democratic supermajority, which may finally spell doom for Proposition 13, the so-called third rail of Californian politics for the past 30 years.

Can this be true? The state might finally be livable again. Hell has indeed frozen over.

Please don't squander this opportunity, California.
