Over a month (maybe less), i've shifted from an almost shamanistic worldview, full of synchronicity and omen, to a hard Darwinian worldview. I feel no conflict between these two, and one does not invalidate the other. I only wonder at the fact that i DONT wonder at the fact.
Anubis and Dawkins, one on each hand.
The Art of Memetics, the Flight Anthology, grokking heuristics (i think)... a growing eerie sense that i've attained some sort of maturity, a claim which will no doubt be disputed by those near and dear.
And no idea why i'm writing this and putting it out there.
