Hey well I'm back in the beautiful country of Iraq I got back the 28th. Iraq is as fun as ever it's getting pretty bad because of the elections coming up. I just took a helicopter ride down to FOB (forward operational base) Endurance for about a week just to judge the situation down here. It's really slow and not much crap compared to Mosul which I'm glad for. I go back to Mosul for the election period because a lot of help will be needed then. Most people aren't going to vote at this point just because they are afraid of their lives if they do. I just hope all this crap gets settled pretty soon. Good news is I might be coming back to Endurance in about middle of Feb for the rest of the stay in Iraq which would be awesome they hardly ever have anything happen a rocket once a month shot at the base that's about it. When I was waiting for the ride down here two rockets flew right over our heads really close and they make this noise that gets to you after hearing so many I will be glad to be back in the states for good. We heard this might be May-June so I'm really glad about that, I just hope it pans out that way. I want to thank Kasa Girls for a great time in Tacoma I really enjoyed just chill'n it was a great break. I had the best nights sleep that first night there. I miss you all already. Hope you all have a kick-axe second semester, (kick-axe has to be the dumbest thing ever thought of).
Peace
Travis
