University? I think SO
So here I am at University. of King's College. In HALIFAX! I have been to almost none of the city as of yet, because I've been pretty much getting to know the people and the campus. And our internet has been down, so there has only been "real" people interaction going on.
We are supposed to have "The Astounding Race" later today to help us get to know the area, but it is raining, so there may be movies in Alumni Hall instead.
Last night, we watched The Exorcist in the quad and then had Campus Ghost Tours. Really. Fucking. Creepy, guys. Way too many people have died on this campus. Mostly through random suicides and so they now are still haunting us in their eternal anger. Yeah. The odds seem to be strongly in favour of most students having at least one paranormal encounter in their time here, so I'll keep you posted.
Oh yeah, and my first night here? There were "pizza parties". Sounds lame, right? But then they hauled out a multitude of free beer, and the night got decidedly better!
Tonight is "Retro Night" at the Wardroom (campus bar). I am desperately going to be needing a liquor run, like, tomorrow. But my roommate Jessica? She's from Souris! And she's 19! Bonus.
I need an ID. Desperately. 'Cause the places I could get into without one, are not places I want to go to. I have been warned.
